Essay ; is about Presentation technique
Essay ; is about Presentation technique
Presenting
information clearly
and effectively is a key skill to get your message or opinion across and,
today, presentation skills are required in almost every field.
Whether you are a student, administrator or executive,
if you wish to start up your own business, apply for a grant or stand for an
elected position, you may very well be asked to make that dreaded presentation.
Many people feel terrified when asked to make their
first public talk, but these initial fears can be reduced by good preparation
which will also lay the groundwork for making an effective presentation.
In my opinion, I think
a presentation is a means of communication which can be adapted to various
speaking situations, such as talking to a group, addressing a meeting or
briefing a team. To be effective, step-by-step preparation and the method and
means of presenting the information should be carefully considered.
Preparation is the most important part of making a
successful presentation. This is the
crucial foundation and there should be no short-cuts.
Few people are able to give a presentation without
notes. You will need to know your own abilities and decide how best to make the
presentation. You might manage your talk by using full text, notes on cue
cards, keywords on cue cards, or mind maps
The practicalities of how you manage your presentation
even can make a significant difference to its success, and to your nerves!
It is entirely natural to feel nervous before making a
presentation. Fortunately, there are some tried and tested strategies and
techniques to manage your nerves so that you can concentrate on delivering an
effective and engaging presentation.
However, in order to make a good presentation, we will
be prepare your presentation,
make sure you have a beginning, middle and end. Tell them what you’re going to
say, say it, then remind them what you said.
All great presentations are given by someone who is
confident. CONFIDENCE is the key, anything that you do to make yourself believe
you are the best is sure to help you. I find that closing my eyes and seeing
myself giving the talk from the back of the room works well. I imagine myself
captivating the audience and delivering a stunning presentation.

ABOUT UNDERSTANDING
ABOUT
UNDERSTANDING
------ ideas and observations
on cross-cultural
communication on the telephone
In this blog , I would
like to talk about cross-cultural communication from reading the business article. In
addition, a five-part presentation on cross-cultural communication consists of
a discussion of cultural differences in interpersonal communication and an
article from a every country-language publication concerning telephone use
skills in a foreign country. Cultural differences in communication are divided
into when to talk, what to say, pacing and pausing, the art of listening, intonation, what is
conventional and what is not in a language,
degree of indirectness and cohesion and coherence.
Examples of these observations about communications
skills. It is concluded that cross-cultural communication presents a
double-bind: the need to be connected to others and the need not to be imposed
upon and that, in certain cultural situations, individuals must compromise
these needs in order to communicate.
An analogy is made between cross-cultural communication
and a route on which someone has turned the signs around: the familiar
signposts are there, but they don't lead in the right direction. we can find
that the format in Communications of
business have a lot. Which come from many countries. we can choose how we can
communicate in that particular situation as a creatively and body mindfully as
possible to generate new possibilities for our relationships instead of
reacting according our cultural programming
However, in the
matter of conversation in the current. I think that it is something that should
make it correct and polite because it was considered as a unique important for
each the country. Although I could not have articulated this
belief as I was growing up, I believed a “good communicator” was someone who
was articulate, clear, and talked a lot.
I developed the conviction that what we need in order to communicate
skillfully is something I came to term “body mindfulness,” an integral approach
to becoming aware of and adjusting our inner state.

Giving your opinion
Ten Expressions to Use In Speaking And Writing
- In my opinion, this one would be better.
- To my mind this one's better.
- If you ask me, this one's better.
- To my way of thinking, this one's fine.
- In my view, this one is best.
- Know what I think? That one's best.
- I'd say tomorrow that one's better.
- What I think is that one's better.
- For me, that one's better.
- I tell you what I think, that one's best.
How To Use These Phrases In Your English
- 'In my opinion' is the classic expression - but it's not the only one. Use moderately.
- 'To my mind' is a common spoken form - and you can use it in writing, too.
- 'If you ask me' is very, very common in spoken English, and can come first or last in a sentence.
- 'To my way of thinking' is often used with emphasis on 'my' to give a strong opinion.
- 'In my view' is common in spoken and written English.
- The abbreviated question '(Do you) know what I think?' is very popular and is not rude.
- The conditional structure I'd say is rarely taught as a conditional, but this is one of the most common ways of giving an opinion in English.
- 'For me' is like 2 and 5.
- 10 is similar to 6, and is quite direct.

Telephone Message No.2
Ms Anne (sales representative Jewels and
Things): ring ring ... ring ring ... ring ring ...
Secretary (Jennifer): Hello, Diamonds Galore,
this is Jennifer speaking. How may I be of help to you today?
Ms Anne: Yes, this is I’m Anne calling. May I
speak to Mr. Franks, please?
Jennifer: I'm afraid Mr. Franks is
out of the office at the moment. Would you like me to take a message?
Ms Anne: Uhm... actually, this call is rather
urgent. We spoke yesterday about a delivery problem that Mr. Franks mentioned.
Did he leave any information with you?
Jennifer: As a matter of fact, he did. He said
that a representative from your company might be calling. He also asked me to
ask you a few questions..
Ms Anne: Great, I'd love to see this problem
resolved as quickly as possible.
Jennifer: Well, we still haven't received the
shipment of earrings that was supposed to arrive last Tuesday.
Ms Anne: Yes, I'm terribly sorry about that. In
the meantime, I've spoken with our delivery department and they assured me that
the earrings will be delivered by tomorrow morning.
Jennifer: Excellent, I'm sure Mr. Franks will
be pleased to hear that.
Ms Anne: Yes, the shipment was delayed from
France. We weren't able to send along your shipment until this morning.
Jennifer: I see. Mr. Franks also wanted to
schedule a meeting with you later this week.
Ms Anne: Certainly, what is he doing on
Thursday afternoon?
Jennifer: I'm afraid he's meeting with some
clients out of town. How about Thursday morning?
Ms. Anne: Unfortunately, I'm seeing someone
else on Thursday morning. Is he doing anything on Friday morning?
Jennifer: No, it looks like he's free then.
Ms. Anne: Great, should I come by at 9?
Jennifer: Well, he usually holds a staff
meeting at nine. It only lasts a half an hour or so. How about 10?
Ms. Anne: Yes, 10 would be great.
Jennifer: OK, I'll schedule that. Ms Anne at
10, Friday Morning... Is there anything else I can help you with?
Ms Anne: No, I think that's everything. Thank
